Park Water Bridge
Shelbyville's first car wash was here in Kennedy Park. Many students as well as adults spent a
hot summer day cleaning their cars on the spillway of the the mighty Blue River.

A new cement base was put on the crossover
a long time ago and that is what has broke away. With some ingenuity
and money, it could be re-cemented and possible repaired just for the
aesthetics of it and not drive over it. Oh well.......it's not my
tax dollar talking. These are our memories. As with all things, change
is inevitable. Marilyn
